After an amazingly excellent stint (read: TWO sold-out bouts) at the 23rd Street Armory, Philly Roller Girls is back and rarin' to go at the Class of 1923 this weekend. For those of you who either a) don't follow derby so much or b) have been hiding under a rock, we're giving you just a few more short days to prepare yourselves for the awesomeness that is our 2011 home season. Go ahead. We'll wait. Prepared? Good.
In all seriousness, we're committed to making sure your experience at one of our events is top-notch, mostly because we believe that flat track derby is the Queen of Sports. For the uninitiated, it has the thrills and spills you're looking for in a sport, with some of the glamor and camp that you won't find in other women's sports. And as for you die-hards...well, we simply love you. Can't wait to have you back in the family this weekend.
So, once again, this Saturday, April 2 at the Class of 1923 Arena, doors at 5pm, first bout at 6pm. Children under 5 are free and if you get your tickets online NOW, you'll save! http://bit.ly/gLSwRS
We're looking at the #4-ranked PRG Liberty Belles taking on #7-ranked Charm City from Baltimore. If you love east coast sports, you'd be crazy to miss this match-up. And, if you enjoy undergarments, you'd be hard-pressed to like anything better than our Heavy Metal Hookers vs. the Philthy Britches. Believe things are gonna get heated. Why would you miss it?
As always, for more info, please check our website, www.phillyrollergirls.com. See you there!
